Useful resources I've found while exploring the internet :)
Tools:
- Wikimedia Commons: Public domain images, audio, videos, and miscellaneous.
- JS-ViNE: Visual Novel Engine made entirely in Javascript.
Research:
- Glitch City: Pokémon glitches.
- The Cutting Room Floor: Information of cut content and development of video games, particularly retro games.
- Wikibooks: Tutorials and guides on almost everything. Has a variety of topics, from programming, languages, cooking, instruments, math, almost anything your mind can think of. I'm currently learning Japanese with it.
- Smogon: Competitive pokemon battling community. Has resources to learn competitive Pokémon battling, a neat community, and some articles.
- Reo's "How to Make a Good Song": Has a ton of valuable advice.
Fun:
- Stickpage: Old website that focused on stickman media. I know the website looks suspicious but trust me it's just very old, I've visited it several times. Has classics like Sift Heads, Henry Stickmin, etc. Needs Ruffle Flash Player for the old flash games to function.
- TamaNOTchi: Neat virtual pets you can put on your website. The more clicks they get, the more they'll evolve. I haven't tried this myself, but it seems fun.
